What to Pack for Your Birth at Colorado Birth & Wellness
As your due date draws near, you’ll want to pack a bag for your time at the birth center. But what should you bring?
The good news? Not much.
Our birth center is designed to feel like home, and we provide most of the essentials you and your baby will need in those first hours. What you bring is simply what helps you feel more comfortable, supported, and at ease during labor and recovery.
Before You Pack: Who’s Coming With You?
We don’t want to set a limit of how many people should be there in your space. Some families want a full support team, while others prefer a quiet, intimate space.
A few things to keep in mind:
Our center is home-like, so there’s no waiting room. Whoever you want there will be in your birth suite.
Everyone present should be there to actively support you
You can always ask someone to step out if needed
The goal: a space that feels calm, safe, and fully centered around you.
