Giving birth at CB&W offers families an empowered, safe, low intervention birth experience in a spa-like environment.
The same team that provided you with prenatal care will welcome you and your family into the birth center during labor. Our job is to keep you safe and comfortable, while letting your body do the work it’s designed to do. All necessary medical equipment and supplies are available in the birth suites to ensure a safe, calm and secure birth center delivery for you and your baby.
The Birth Experience
Our birth center provides an intimate environment for you to birth your baby freely and safely. We encourage you to move freely, to nourish yourself with food, and to labor/birth in the water if you desire. We offer many of the comforts of home in a room well prepared for birth and potential complications.
Personal.
We believe in personalized care, and you will be greeted at the door by familiar faces when you arrive in labor. Our midwife team will be a part of your birth care team, as well as any other support you choose.
Safe.
Your care team has access to all medical equipment and supplies necessary support a low-risk birth. In the event you need further medical care, our centers are located within a few miles of hospitals with emergency services and a level III NICU. All staff of the center regularly participate in emergency drills and have direct lines of contact with the hospital.
Supported.
Natural pain management tools will be integrated during your labor to manage contractions and intense sensations. Being in a nurturing environment, movement, hydrotherapy, heat, massage, TENS units, aromatherapy, relaxation techniques, and partner education will all contribute to your unmedicated birth. All of these tools will help you have an amazing birth experience.

We believe that the greatest expert on your body is… YOU. Our care team is here to keep you and baby safe, while also encouraging you to listen to your intuition and labor in the way your body leads you.
